Strategic Advisor
Delvina Morrow has an impressive track record of strategy development, fundraising, and event planning experience, ranging from ongoing coordination of development efforts at a Pittsburgh-area non-profit, to staging and fundraising successes at a number of high-profile events in New York City. This broad scope of experience feeds directly into her current role at the PLSG where she has primary responsibility for the implementation and evaluation of the PLSG’s community engagement activities, which include public programs, community meetings, public gatherings, and the development of fundraising strategies.
Delvina also serves at the Project Director for The PLSG “i6 Challenge” grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce to create and expand cluster-based programs from proof-of-concept through commercialization all related to HIT through the EDA Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS) program.
Additionally, Delvina serves as a consultant to help navigate startups and nonprofits through uncharted times. Delvina has a deep understanding of Pittsburgh’s innovation economy, and has worked within the life sciences, HIT, and nonprofit sectors to help with brand positioning, applying creativity, intellect, expertise and passion to help organizations achieve maximum success.
In 2017 Delvina was named by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the inaugural class of its “30 Under 30” honorees in 2017 and is a member of the Leadership Pittsburgh LDI Class of 2018. She is currently Board President, for feminist maker space Prototype PGH.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York, in 2009, and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration, at the Duquesne University Palumbo Donahue School of Business, in Pittsburgh, PA.
